Victor Osimhen is a big name on the transfer market as the Nigerian striker looks set for a move away from Napoli this summer.
The reigning African Footballer of the Year has been monitored by different clubs ahead of a potential move after the Naples club agreed to let him go.
Osimhen is reportedly expected to leave for less than the release clause in his Napoli contract to encourage suitable buyers for his signature.
A report from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Osimhen’s camp is now in advanced talks with Paris Saint-Germain to replace Kylian Mbappe who was unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Tuesday.
The Italian journalist reports that the interest of the French outfit is now concrete and the striker – who won the Scudetto in the 2022/23 season – is keen on moving to Parc des Princes if a fee can be agreed between both sides.
It is also said that Osimhen would be high on PSG’s recruitment list if one striker walks through the exit door.
Osimhen is also eyed by Saudi Pro League clubs who would be willing to spend big on the poacher, however, he is currently giving more attention to European clubs.
