Manchester United have once again received unfavourable news with regards to fitness of one of their players as Noussair Mazraoui is set to be out on the sidelines.
The 26-year-old has undergone a corrective heart procedure after experiencing palpitations.
The Moroccan — who is expected to be available in the next few weeks per team sources — withdrew from his nations double header Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Central African Republic billed for Saturday and Tuesday.
Mazraoui has started nine out of 10 of United’s games this season and all seven of the Premier League games since his arrival from Bayern Munich.
He now joins fellow defenders, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia on the sidelines, after coming off at half-time in the stalemate at Aston Villa on Sunday.
