Paris Saint-Germain have now gone four games without a win in the UEFA Champions League this season as they sit 26th with just four points from five games.
Luis Enrique’s side lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich on Tuesday but the Spanish coach remains hopeful his side can secure passage to the next round as they sit two places behind the knockout playoff positions.
The French giants were gunned down, no thanks to Kim Min-Jae’s first half goal and a red card to Ousmane Dembele did not help the chances of getting an equaliser.
“We gave a bad impression, a bad impression from the first minute,” Enrique said to PSG TV.
“Bayern Munich were superior to us in the first half… we thought we had chances and I think the start of the second half was better. But after Ousmane [Dembele] was sent off, we suffered.”
Ligue 1 frontrunners PSG, who play host to Nantes on Saturday, will travel RB Salzburg for their next Champions League match in December, and then to come are clashes with Manchester City and VfB Stuttgart in January.
“It’ll be difficult to get those points back, but there are still three games left and we have to hope to qualify,” Enrique said.
