Jose Mourinho has been out of work since January, but the popular Portuguese coach is now set for a new job.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Mourinho is set to take over at Turkish club, Fenerbache ahead of the new season.
The former Real Madrid, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Chelsea manager is reported to have signed and agreed a contract with the Istanbul club until June 2026.
It was also stated that the deal was negotiated by famous agent Jorge Mendes.
This will be Mourinho’s 10th different club as a manager.
He has coached Benfica, Leiria, Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Roma so far.
Mourinho is also set to reunite with Edin Dzeko, who he worked with at Roma.
Fenerbache also has the likes of Fred – whom he recruited at Man United – Dusan Tadic and Michy Batshuayi in their ranks.
Fener lost once in the league last season under Turkish coach Ismail Kartal, amassing up to 99 points.
However, that was not enough to claim the title as Galatasaray finished with 102 points.
Mourinho will definitely now be aiming to end the wait for a 20th league title which has stretched up to a decade.
