Barcelona midfielder Pedri signed a new four-year contract extension to remain at the club until 2030.
Pedri has been lauded as a great talent from age 16 after he filled the vacuum left by Andres Iniesta.
Featuring in Spain’s European Championship winning team in 2024, Pedri signed the dotted line with club president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco in attendance.
With only securing temporary playing licences for Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, Laporta would be pleased with securing the future of one of the Blaugrana’s main talents.
The Catalan giants secured their place in the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday but they still sit seven points behind Real Madrid in LaLiga.
