Real Madrid’s frontline is looking extremely formidable ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Los Blancos unveiled Brazil forward Endrick as their new signing ahead of the incoming season on a six-year contract.
The European champions had agreed to finalise the signing from Palmeiras, in 2022, with the view of him joining after turning 18 in 2024.
Media outlets in Spain reported that Endrick – who will be wearing the LaLiga champions’ number 16 jersey, was signed for an initial fee of €35million with an add-on fee worth up to €25million.
“This is crazy! I’m so happy, since I was a kid I have always been a Madrid fan and now I am going to play for Madrid,” Endrick said at his presentation ceremony.
“I don’t have words to describe what I am feeling. I always wanted to be here. I wanted to play for Madrid. It was a dream. Today it is a reality.”
A product of the Palmeiras academy, with 21 goals in 82 games – Endrick has netted on three occasions in 10 appearances for Brazil since his debut last year and is the youngest male player to score an international goal at Wembley.
